friends ex confronts me

In this dream I was sitting down in a urban dinner. I was confronted by to what had seemed to be a boyfriend or a friend I knew long ago. He had asked if I would accompany him to a (something) navy. (Regarding ROTC). I did not answer until I told him "would you like to talk in private?" Which he replied: "lets talk in private." He then confronted me about his girlfriend, possibly ex girlfriend. I told him the we were just friends and I hadn't talk'n to her for awhile. I also told him that while I knew her and before they dated that I had a 'crush' on her. We then walked further back to a small area were the restrooms were. A good friend of mine appeared and the man that was once the girls boyfriend suddenly was another person. My good friend then pushed me into the restroom and in which one was ready to fight and thee other was ready to stand guard and watch. The man that I was to fight was very fit and had most likely was a very active person not to mention his height was superior to mine. I then backed away into my friend a swiftly threw a punch to the large man connecting to his face then left.
