Retrenched from my job

Dreamed I got retrenched from my current job. I felt a bit angry and told my family. They kept telling me that I was better off without the job. I went to a grocery store to buy some apples and tried to get it weighed. I also brought my CV to go job hunting with a friend later. An old woman started to speak to me but what she was speaking Portuguese which, oddly enough, I understood. She then warned me about a snake behind me. It was maroon and yellow in colour and it looked ready to strike but we managed to chase it away. Later, I met up with the friend I intended to meet up with and we somehow ended up in a big cardboard box which was sliding down a flight of stairs and we were having fun
