I was dating a spider. Dating is probably the wrong word; we were bonded more like Eddie Brock and Venom. A group of explorers and I were on an island that had a species of dangerous spiders on it. These spiders were dangerous because they were poisonous (I assume), but more importantly they could grow in size to be as big as a human. My friend and I were exploring together when we found 2 spiders. I don't remember how we befriended them, but we both became bonded to them. My spider was yellowish-brown with thin translucent legs. It was about the size of my thumb pad. I remember thinking it was adorable. We played a hide-and-seek kind of game by it running around my hand really fast and me having to keep up with its movements. My friend's spider looked like it was a tarantula. It was brown and fuzzy, and was large enough to fit in the palm of their hand. We were having fun talking to our spiders. They showed us how they looked when they grew big. Both of the spiders grew to the size of a large dog, and we watched them walk on the walls and spin webs. It was all going fine until the other explorers found us. They immediately panicked and tried to harm the spiders. Our spiders ran off and the explorers came up to us and asked if we were alright. We said we were and they left us alone. Eventually, it came to the explorer's attention that the spiders were bonded to someone. They planned to catch whoever it was and do tests on them. My friend and I did not want to be subjected to any tests, so we decided we were gonna escape with out spiders. I don't remember how, but we managed to evade the explorers and get away. Happy ending.
