The Art of Dance

I could have sworn I was at some sort of high school, or perhaps even college, but it was way nicer than one would have imagined for a public teaching institute. I found myself wandering halls in a school I’ve dreamed about before, ultimately finding a cool glass art room. There were nice white shelves with all sorts of vibrant blown glass cups, bowls, trinkets, sculptures, and really just everything. The classroom was of a nice dark wood floor with pasty walls and nice yellow-leaning white lighting. It looked studio-esque and very nicely thought out. There was a fairly large sized darkwood island in the middle of the classroom that seemed to be of a demo desk. There were two long banquet-style tables with stools for students to sit at. I chose the table closest to the door, looking at the glass art along the walls. There weren’t many other students, maybe less than half to fill up the seats, but the tall, pretty teacher decided to proceed with whatever lecture/demo she had for that moment. The entrance into the classroom was closed and may have been locked. It was time. The teacher only gave a short introduction about herself, as she was someone I’d not known before, and proceeded to press a button on some remote she pointed roughly my direction. The peculiar set of mid/darkwood French doors in the classroom opened in to a new room. My eyes widened as a new view met them. A dozen sexy male dancers were found in the intense electric blue room. The ground seemed of glass, which was very cool paired with an inch or two of water covering it. The dancers were adorned in black pants and a studded harness. A few of them had hats that were reminiscent of police caps, except they were black with maybe a few silver pins. As the dancers moved their feet, water droplets flew a couple inches into the air, the white light of the classroom making everything look shiny. The men leaned back, showing off their pecs, slightly buff arms, and, perhaps unintentionally, their bulges. I was mesmerized by the display in front of me. I couldn’t remember if there was music. If there was, it wasn’t very loud or interesting enough for me to remember. I can’t imagine they were dancing to nothing, however. My gaze followed the somehow sexy men until I noticed my childhood friend, Lizzy, sheepishly coming from the other table to get a view of what was through the mystery doors, at her angle. She curiously came over and I was so excited, I think I accidentally woke up there. I hadn’t seen her in forever.
