Mom vs teens

My mom was going low on money to support us so she picked up a job at a convenient store across the stress from our house and I look out of the window and I see her getting hassled by a group of teens who are trying to steal her iPhone. I see a girl I go to school with, with them. My sister, who’s a loose cannon rushes out to battle while I pick which combat boots to wear and then leave to fight. We fight them off then escort out mom to the store where she bags food sadly. I came back home to my cousin and I remember being extremely sad because who would wanna hurt my mother like that? I picked up the sport of track to cope with the realization that the world doesn’t always stop for older women who are frail and not as strong as their younger counterparts. I ran everyday after that
