Snakes and Exes

I went to go get a tattoo with my two friends, and ended up getting a black snake tattoo sketched around my neck. As I look at it in the mirror, I see my ex boyfriend in the same tattoo parlor sketching out a tattoo for himself. I keep saying "my mom is going to kill me" and my friend keeps saying that I'll regret it on my wedding day. I go back to the table and theres a snake on it - for reference I guess. I pick up the snake and ask the tattoo artist if it is harmless, and just as the snake bites me, he says yes. I look at the snake..it is black, small with little white lines on it. I put the snake back down and I go over to my ex who is helping the tattoo artist draw a design, even though he cant draw in reality. It is a snake crest tattoo, with what appeared to be a blue dragon in the middle. I told him we have similar taste and showed him my neck. he raised his eyebrows and said interesting, and so then I patted him on the back and said have a good one, and went back to my table. I messaged my other ex on Facebook messenger about the tattoo, but he didnt reply. I ended up leaving the tattoo parlor with my friends and didn't get the tattoo.
