Space alien power rangers

This was a very interesting dream in which I was apart of a galactic army/task force and our mission was to annihilate these strange being. The army of beings was composed of the skinny bug-like aliens from men in black (lower tier) but as you move up in ranks you had strange aliens disguised as color balloons and also as various power rangers except the rangers were about 4 ft. They also all made weird alien like hisses. The bugs didn’t do much they were weak to take out, the balloons had a slow moving shock wave they emitted which took about 3 sec to charge up. And the rangers were speedy, combative, and also emitted the shock wave but at a slightly slower charge time. My squad were equipped with these useless ray guns that only spray out a acid-like chemical but it wasn’t a continuous spray and the trigger was slightly hard to maneuver. We were in an artificial field on a giant ship that wasn’t exactly clear if it was ours and they were attempting to ambush or vice versa. But we had positioned ourselves around the field in order to properly utilize our ray guns long distance. It was basically like a stadium. The aliens were entering via one entrance in waves and we were spread out across the stadium ready. Unfortunately our guns were no match and the aliens would come out some would get hit and die but we were eventually overpowered bc we were outnumbered. But it was like a simulation or game so each time I died I came back with better strategies but I couldn’t change our guns so we kept dying. Right before I woke up I realized that the best tactic was close combat but using sharp branches from a tree that happened to be in the field. But I unfortunately never got to test it out except on one balloon.
