Discretion advised: this is NOT sleep paralysis. Rather it’s a nightmare about having one. I had sleep paralysis before. I know what is actually sleep paralysis versus what actually a nightmare. —————————————————————- I dreamed about me sitting in my bed taking naps. Instead of lying completely flat, I fell asleep sitting up straight with pillows support against my back. So I got more sleepy and i lied sideways awkwardly against the pillow to my right. Anyways the room felt heavier and it’s getting darker. I can feel the dark presence permeating through my room. I’m starting to get uncomfortable. At this time, I thought “I’m getting sleep paralysis again. I have to ‘wake myself up’ “. I tried to wiggle my toes or move my body in general. I couldn’t. I started panic more and more. I kept trying to scream “HELP ME!” in hope that my roomate next door would hear. Still no avail. I tried to stare at the wall on the right anything to avoid the dark presence on top of my chest. Tears came out of my cheeks. Finally I was able to “wake up” within my dream. I got out of my bed and swung my door open. (Instead of seeing the normal stairs up to my another roomate’s room), I saw old staircases. Everything is still dark. Now it’s getting more red. I ran up in hopes that I can see my roomate and everything will be alright and back to normal. However it led me up to another room 3 floors above. The two doors were large like mansion gates. I was confused: this isn’t my roomate’s room? Everything started to feel like hell because the color of the stair rails were crimson red. The door were dark red. It looked like the door of lonely mansion and it made me felt uncomfortable. Then the dream zoomed out from first person perspective to 3rd person. I watched myself meltdown and curled cried.
