Telepathy and airport ride

I promised Marneen that I was going to take him to the airport. That would entail me escorting him to the airport with his vehicle and then driving his vehicle back. Scene changed and I am at my brother Jeffrey's house. Jeff is taking a shower. I had totally forgotten about my promise to Marneen. Somehow Jeff sends a message to me, maybe telepathically, that the phone is ringing and maybe it's for me. I totally freaked out because suddenly I remembered my promise to Marneen. I feel really bad and I am debating what to do. Truthfully, I did not want to make the ride all the way out to the airport.  But I love Marneen and would bend over backwards to help him if he needed it. I am on my way to Jeff's room to answer the phone. I feel guilty for my conflicting thoughts. I wake up before I get a chance to listen to message or call Marneen back. Note: The dream takes place in a home where I am on familiar with, and Jeff seems to be single. In real life, Jeff does not have an apartment like the one I am visiting, and he has a family of his own.
