Shedding Skin

For context here I had been up late watching YouTube videos about "true" horror stories. Not much can be recalled. Someone, either I or a different person had shed their skin. The exoskeleton that was removed from the body resembled that of a snake's shredded skin. The skin seemed to mimic a snake with indentations that looked like scales on a snake. Odd. We are human. Or at lest I thought so. On top of this there was light surrounding the environment I was in. It reminded me of the movie Prometheus.
