I Didn’t Think it Was a Dream Because it was Too Real

I dreamed this while I was asleep with the guy I'm seeing, in his bed at his place. In the dream I was on a couch and he was on top of me making out with me. I started wondering how we got on a couch. He didn't have a couch in his room, just the bed. I was confused as to where we were. Then I realized my eyes were open while I kissed him because I could still see his face. But I knew that my eyes were closed right now. I was so confused as to whether my eyes were open or closed. I knew they were closed but I could still see for some reason. That made me think this might be a dream. I started to consider it and then decided it could not be a dream because it felt so real. Then a dog ran into the room. I was confused because this guy doesn't have a dog, but he recognized the dog so I just accepted it. The dog was black and white and medium sized and he was very cute and sweet. He came over to me and I put out my hand and he licked it. Two other dogs came running in at that point, both were also very cute and sweet and wanted to lick my hand. The guy I was with said "I'll go take care of them," and led them away, but only two followed him, and the third one stayed. It was an all black dog with very curly hair. She jumped up onto the couch and looked at me with huge innocent eyes. I started petting her and noticed a tiny bug jumping around her head. "Looks like you got a flea there, lil buddy," I told her. Then I noticed another flea and started to rescind because I have a fear of fleas ever since the time in my childhood where our house was infested. I noticed now thousands of fleas were crawling over her entire body and I jumped back in horror, falling onto the floor, thinking about how much pain and discomfort she must be in. Then the floor was completely covered in fleas crawling and jumping everywhere.
