Floating in a Vast Ocean

As I lay in bed last night, we left the Google assistant on to ocean sounds. I felt that I was steering a boat in the middle of a vast ocean, Maggie in my arms. I felt all alone, not physically, but in terms of responsibility and necessitated awareness.
