Weird Reoccuring Nightmare

When I was younger I used to have this one reoccuring dream. It was pretty weird. It usually started out that my school was going skating. It was always early in the morning. Anyways we would go to this nature park I live near. Because there is a big pond in the middle. So I would be there. But then I would realize I forgot my skates. So they would strap me to my bed. Which came from who knows where. And send my out onto the non frozen side of the pond. Its a pretty large pond. I would be chilling on my bed. Then this huge iguana looking thing would break through the ice. It was not mean. It just wanted to play. It would knock my bed a round. I do not remember a lot about my dream. But I do remember that it was s strange dream. I had it lot. But I never have it anymore. I wonder why?
