I sat down to have a conversation with this old black man about his life. He taught me many valuable lessons about how to be a good person. He was telling me about the man who taught him all of these lessons. He mentioned that the man was still alive living in the neighborhood and gave me the location. I knew the spot because I was going by it a few weeks ago and it was on fire. I went to go see if anyone was alive in there. I found a dead body. I told my mentor that I believe his mentor had died. He was sad.
