Diamomds

In a crowd of a few intimate friends. Maybe I didn’t know them that well. There were 3 diamonds resembling the ones my mother lost forever bc of me. I was being told that they had no “hole” in the bottom like most older diamonds do. I thought that they might not really be similar enough even though I wanted so much to give them “back” to her. I was frantically trying to find her diamonds. Writing this makes me sad.
