past and present machine

We ard at grandma Fredericks house for some sort of famoly gathering and brandon slices his hand down the middle. He's really freaking out and I offer to help because I know it would be an easy fix if he doesn't need stitches. He goes into the backroom with Myles and after a while they both come back panicking. I forget what myles said herw but I ignored any of his warnings and headed back with them. The back room looks sort of like moms room or grammy and papas old bedrrom with the bed in the middle. Brandon is gone and myles hands me a machine to find him. Myles tells me something about the machine and how he was "talking to them." I turn it on. It looks like an old walkie talkie with a screen and a tw pronged stiff antenna. At first word are just popping up on the screen. I keep screaming for Brandon to come through but I just here womens voices. I have no Idea why Brandon is dead or invisible. The screen lights up and I can move it atound like a camera. when I move it the screen shows what the room use to look like in the past. The room was an old communal hospital. I can't remember what any of the women said but It was really scary. We go back to the front room to tell everyone that we lost Brandon. No one is nearly as concerned as we are. Next scene, myles and I are in hia bedroom but its his room from Columbus, just with a double bed. He's tells me that if we can see the past with the machine then we could just change the settings and see the future. I tell him that that could be dangerous. He begs and I finally agree. Im extremely nervous because the machine scared me so much. My dream ends here.
