Reoccurring dream of an old friend

I had this friend who I’m no longer friends with. I ended the friendship when she (out of nowhere) became a die hard Trump supporter. There was never an conversation where the friendship ended, it was just me unfriending her on all social media and blocking her number. This happened maybe 3 year ago. Anyways over last few months, I’ve been having dreams and she keeps showing up in them. It’s always us talking as if nothing changed or doing stuff that we used to. I wake up sad. What does this all mean?
