june 24 2019 so my friend steph did a thing where she chose 20 brands with racist logos and called them all to change their logos, and ms. my teacher, ms glynn-williams, found out about it and she was like THIS IS A GREAT IDEA so for our art cpt instead of doing actual art she changed it to “do 20 acts of anti-racism in real life, not just reposting posts on instagram” and thats what sparked a whole thing at my school where everyone was anti-racist and supporting blm in their daily life and was not shy about it. like it was talked about daily and many cpts were made to encourage anti racism like glynn williams. For example, Tori found out her boyfriend was racist and immediately broke up w him. Then she kinda had feelings for another boy (who was ugly) and said “i used to like him but no. not when he acts like that [racist]. i used to have the urge to touch his soft blonde hair but oh well, i can sacrifice some hair.” Daphne was also in the dream and she also supported blm but her parents didnt. Her family had two houses, one close to me and one in haliburton (not a cottage, a house). So her mom, to avoid all the blm stuff happening at carter, moved to the house in haliburton for a little and took daphne with her. she was like “i’ll come back when all this has died down.” While they lived in their haliburton house for a while, they got a small dog, like a lil morkie. And behind her moms back she took photoshoots of her dog in support of blm, i dont remember how it supported blm but yeah.
