High school friend stole my IPhone

I’m in this hallway building school area type please. I then unexpectedly run across one of my acquaintances from high school. It’s cool to run into him but don’t really care that much. After talking to him and walking away I noticed that my phone was missing. I quickly found him again and confronted him about how he was the last person with my phone. I got into a huge confrontation with him and his friends.
