I was talking to a muso I used to know. Me: "Hey, you know there used to be a guy around [suburb] who looked a lot like you? But obviously younger, maybe early 30s." Him: "I reckon that's [some name] who works at [music shop]." I knew the place and didn't want to say why I never went there because I knew he'd belittle me over it. (Someone else worked there who looked exactly like one of my psycho exes and I was convinced it was in fact the same person.)
