super mario galaxy

i was playing super mario galaxy. suddenly, i was drawn into the game and awoke in the game world. without noticing the change, i proceeded to attempt to complete a hidden level. while adventuring, i encountered an emperor penguin and attempted to stomp on his head and break him. he seemed to accept his fate, as he did not fight me. my friends materialized and laughed at me. i only managed to crack the penguin's head slightly before waking up. somehow he had become like a wooden statue.
