Swimming to safety

A group of us were swimming to safety quite a distance in the ocean. We had a squirmish where someone panicked and was hanging on to others and accidentally pushing them under the water. Someone else and I grabbed him by his feet and pulled him backwards to keep him away from the others. We then put a life jacket on him and assured him he was safe. We swam through some major waves and rough spots and wound up at a hotel That was partially flooded. We swam into it and were jumping off the various levels of the stair case into the ocean water below.
