Playing trumpet in full orchestra

I was in orchestra at school playing trumpet with Jianni and for some reason Chris and Donovan were also playing trumpet even though they play trombone. We were all playing on dizzy Gillespie style horns and for some reason sitting on the floor which made it look like we were firing mortars. There were no French horns nor woodwinds.
