Are You Real?

Since it was summer time, my family decided to go to the beach. We were walking along the shoreline, enjoying the fresh touch of the water on our feet. While we walked, I began videtaping my family members in short clips. Then, the next thing I see is my uncle sitting in a beach chair. At first, I couldn't believe my eyes because he lives miles away and annually comes to visit in December. I stared at him and he stared at me. I asked him if he was real since I seriously thought he was a doppelganger. In that moment, I felt a great wave of sadness so I hugged him really tightly. He hugged me back. It felt so real. In that moment, I knew that if I were to stop hugging him, he would be gone and I didn't want for him to be gone. So I kept my arms wrapped around him until I woke up.
