70's Hooters

I was a new hire at a Hooters that was supposed to be 70's themed. The building was a old multi-story house that was really run down. All they had for us to wear was a watered-down cowgirl outfits, which looked stupid and certainly were not 70's. The only 70's thing about the place was the music. I was getting costume when Cheryl Lynn's "Got to be Real" came on. I knew then that something had to be done. I approached the owner after my shift, who was heading to a meeting with her extensive staff. I followed her to the warehouse where the meeting took place and where renovations were being planned. The place was crammed with the most vibrant, creative array of people from all over. I knew what I had to do. I grabbed their attention and broke into a speech about what the 70's was all about. Hippies. Protesters. Technology. Disco. Peace. Crazy love. Soulful music. After my speech, even the owner was convinced. Our Hooters had never really been 70's... But from now on, it sure would be.
