Secret Indian Guides

Indians were trying to guide me through the city without me realizing it. Almost everyone in the city is of Indian blood and is of this tribe. As soon as I got through a part of the city and continue to walk to the next. I see (I'm looking down from above) the town square full of people, all of whom raise a thumbs up after they successfully guide me to where they want me. I'm unaware I'm being guided. Eventually they're also guiding me and their tribe through rocky waters on canoes. I try to help guide by looking out for rocks showing above the water. There comes a point where we have to get through the mouth of a large rock and the boat barely fits. But we make it through.
