A dream within a dream

This involved a dream within a dream. I dreamt something involving a woman in a car who was being chased or followed by a man in a car, another woman tried to help her, but it turned out this woman meant her harm as well. When I thought I woke up, I told my friends that I thought the dream was great and could be made into a suspense movie or something and I needed to write it down right away. No one had any paper so my friend gave me a black marker and I started writing the dream on their floor going around in a circle. Another friend asked why writing the dream down was a big deal and I shared that Harry Potter had been made because of a dream. My one friend looked upset and I realized that I was writing on her floor with a sharpie. I asked if it was going to be permanent and she said yes. I saw that she had brought out magic erasers and I was able to use them to get the writing off of the floor. I had later dreams about spending time with my best friend. We went to a home that she was watching for someone that was out of town. The home seemed to be in the city next to stores and the front of the house was made out of glass so you could look in and see everything. From the outside you could see stairs going up the back and what looked like reclaimed wood along the back. It was a very nice looking home. While she was in the other room. The male couple came home with the children they had adopted. They didn't seem too surprised to see me and I introduced myself and thought that we had already met once before. Later in the dream, I found out that my friend was flying to another country in the New Year to go fishing with her family.
