My good friend and I were in a classroom helping Jennifer B. with classroom management. There were all different age levels inside the classroom. There was some big event going on that day. My friend was in the back dealing with this difficult child who kept trying to run away. It was a small girl. The teacher was at her desk counting certain things up, possibly for a field trip. I kept feeling like I was supposed to go across the hall for a meeting but I knew I just couldn’t leave them hanging. Jennifer then took the difficult student in the hallway. She shut the door and then we heard a bunch of banging and her yelling, “you’ve got to be kidding me!” I peeked out the door and the child had thrown up everywhere. I was standing in front of the door to guard it. Several kids tried to come up and be nosy and I very sternly told them to sit back down and that it was none of their business. Then I looked at my friend and said, “I know this is completely the wrong time. “She looked at the bathroom and said that was fine. She wasn’t bothered by it at all. I walked into the bathroom and woke up and had to really use the bathroom.
