It’s my first day of college classes and I start heading to my first class. I don’t remember much about some of the actual classes but I remember looking at my schedule between classes and heading to the next one. One class is really weird, we have to go through a maze that just leads right back into the classroom but first leads to the girls restroom. I have to use the bathroom so I go in. There are no stalls, only curtains that you have to pull shut around your toilet. Some other girl pulls open my curtains as I’m trying to use the toilet and starts chatting with another girl on the other side of me. Then they start talking to me directly and any scrap of privacy I had is gone. Afterwards I make it back to the class and then we are given cans of cat food to mold into certain shapes for some reason. I can’t find an unopened can so I end up taking a Tupperware container of the cat food. Another one of my classes is art, but the professor gives a brief lecture on various environmental issues, following a handout that she gave us. I only half pay attention, having learned most of this in my AP environmental science class. Then she gives us huge kneaded erasers and leaves for a meeting with a lot of class time still left. Another professor comes in and just lectures us on proper behavior, although no one was misbehaving to begin with. I wait impatiently for him to finish so I can go to my next class, and begin packing up my bag. As I do so, looking at my pencil bag full of neatly organized colored pencils reminds me of my love of Pokémon and all the memories I made with them despite me having never played Pokémon in real life.
