Super Bowl Sunday Bombing

In Boston or somewhere, at a bar grabbing breakfast after a night out drinking. Sitting with my friends and gf. It was super bowl Sunday. Jeff was telling me how he didn’t drink enough water or Gatorade the night before and wasn’t feeling too well. I was very hungry for breakfast. We were watching the news and a breaking news alert popped up. Someone bombed the stadium where the Super Bowl was being played and their backup qb died. Then they played footage of it on screen. Both teams has just gotten on the field to warmup for the big day. During a drill, a player was tackled and landed on a black drawstring bag. The bag exploded on impact and shot shrapnel out from underneath him, hitting the Bills backup quarterback. It was gruesome. We just watched as this man got hit with shrapnel and screamed over and over and over again. Players cried and held each other as the man died on the field. Everyone in the bar watching was visibly upset and waiting for the clips to end. I woke up and thought, “I can’t believe the Bills are playing in the Super Bowl”
