When You're On The Outside Looking In....(don't)

I was walking back from lunch with Annie and Maria and we're just talking about stuff that may or may not have been the secret to world peace (who knows) but when we walked back in the main building there was a new room. The small doorway that led to a little stairway and lost and found was now a large room (with a giant glass window bc our school is freaking obsessed with windows). In it we were able to get a glance of the school shrink, the school dean, and Kevin. I knew exactly what it was about but Annie couldn't care less so she left. For some reason I couldn't stand to look away from Kevin's interrogation. Then I realized if a teacher saw me I'd be in trouble so I turned to Maria and said "They'll think I'm up to something if they see me here" (or something like that). She smiled kinda sadly and said something along the lines of "I know, that's why I'm going to stay with you"
