Makeover Monday

My mom just bought this new big house. She said it was me and my little brother Corey's job to clean it before we moved in. We had one week to do so.. we had to start moving our stuff out of our current house a week earlier then scheduled. That day we moved our big furniture, beds, and bare minimum to the new house. It was Wednesday February 18th and Marisa was coming over after we got out of school. We all end up cleaning for a few hours and then ordered a pizza and put on a movie. Marisa wanted to curl my hair for school the next day so we did that before bed. We head to school and they surprise the senior class with a NBA baseball game. They're playing a game just for our senior class so it was amazing to see. The guys are all going nuts because they get to meet the players and some of them are in the game for a pitch or two. Then they started offering a lot of the girls a beauty day and I happened to be one of them. I follow the other girls and we each get our own little room. My hair happened to be curled already which never happens so I felt one step ahead of everyone else. Until I saw what was in the room.. since I've never worn makeup in my life I had no idea what any of it was or how to put any of it on. I just stood there for over an hour in awe because I was so clueless on what to do. Time was up and we all headed back to the game. They were offering more girls a chance to pick a dress and shoes in addition to the hair and makeover they just received. I took that opportunity and searched for the perfect dress. For some reason that just wasn't my day because I could not find a dress that I wanted in my size. I was surrounded by hundreds of beautiful dresses and I get to take one home for free. And I couldn't even find one I loved enough.. clearly I'm messed up in the head. Schools about to end alone with the baseball game so the girls are wrapping up getting their dresses and I'm just standing in the room clueless. I give up, pick a random dress and go home.
