Missing a band concert

I had a dream where I missed a bad concert because I was in Texas? Yeah, I don’t know why I would even do this, especially because I’m a dedicated band kid. There was this one scene where we were walking on a campus to this one building where we would perform. I ask Adam if he has been practicing the ILMEA etude a and scales for the fall. I say that my goal is to become first chair, and he just gives me a look that says “yeah right.”. I don’t really remember what happens inside of the band building, only that we start to practice our instruments. When I was in Texas I email my band director that I will be missing the band concert. The scene cuts to band where they are performing. It is more of a musical than an actual band performance.
