Adopted Son

A Chinese couple gave me their son because they were escaping persecution and wanted their son to have a safe life. I hired a nanny to care for him while I worked because I was a single mom living in a city apartment. I came home one day and couldn’t find my son. I kept calling out to him and running through the house until I found him asleep in my bed. I turned around and the nanny was sitting in a chair in the living room watching me find my son. She was smirking at me. She didn’t say anything but I knew she was trying to take him from me. I told her to leave my house and my son and never come back.
