I was at a fairground with my friend, Kylie, and we were hoping to find a big wheel to go on, but no one was letting us on. Finally, we found a ride that we could both go on, but it was less of a big wheel and more of a BIG sea-saw bungee ride. I could see the fear wash over Kylie's face, but despite this, I pushed off as fast as I could, knowing she'd be absolutely terrified. My bungee flung high into the air and I felt a rush of euphoria, but on my way down, I saw that Kylie wasn't pleased with my carelessness, and she was holding on for DEAR LIFE knowing that the ride was about to hurl her 200 feet into the air. I pushed off again, despite how scared she felt. "She needs to face her fear!" I thought. Next scene; I was in Sainsbury's buying Halloween stuff for my friend, Ash "She'll love these!" I thought. I then saw a Frozen doll for my niece, Ava. "How much is this?" I asked the cashier - a young ditsy girl who didn't seem to know what she was doing - as it turned out, the doll was way out of my price range, so I thought I would just get the Halloween stuff instead. But I grew getting angrier and angrier with the checkout girl because everything I scanned wasn't the price I thought it would be. Then she wanted to put me on a different self-check out (which now looked more like Yan Can Cook's kitchen counter with a steaming hot oven in the middle) after I had scanned my every single item "for fuck sake!" I muttered. Next scene; I was at a house party with my kids - it was a Halloween-inspired do! When my daughter, Phoebe, was out of the room, we hid her 'precious' iPad and watched her reaction - giggling when she realised it had gone. She wasn't too happy. My Hippy friend, Laura, then handed out sweets to all the kids and she told them they could have any Halloween treat they liked. Only, when max picked up a Wookiee mask, Laura said no. "Not that one!" She said sternly, shoving it back into a whole bag full of the same mask. Next scene; Liz and some other friends had driven over to my mum's house. When we had parked up, there was a guy - a few doors down - who started telling us about his weird dreams. "How strange!" We thought. "What a weird individual!" But to our horror, we soon found out why he was trying to distract us - Liz's Audi had been sawed in half - only the front half of the car remained...the other half was nowhere to be seen. It was getting dark now, and we had to get back. Before Liz and Sophie drove away with the remaining half of her Audi, my mum came out of her house sucking a lolly pop. "I'll text all of Liz's friends and tell them she hasn't for signal!" She just about manage to say with this lollipop hanging out of her mouth. "NO! don't do that!" I said sternly. "People need to know she might be in danger!" I continued. With darkness upon us, Kylie and I decide to walk home together - taking different twists and turns. Halfway along the way I lost her and instead find myself walking along with my son, Maxi, and wondering where Phoebe had got to. "It's dark! I hope she's safe!" I thought. Next scene; It was daylight again. My mum and I were walking along the road with my son, Alex. Suddenly my mum becomes very cross, crouching on the ground next to my son and complaining that his uniform looks a mess! "These are girls callots, Amanda, he should be in boys shorts!" I then started arguing back - "They aren't callots, he just so skinny I had to adjust the buttons on the side until there is flapping material that looks like they are callotts!" My mum finally caved in, but she wasn't happy. "She thinks I'm a terrible mum!" I thought. Next scene; My ex husband, Mat, came back home for the weekend, but he was so preoccupied by his 'other life' he barely spent any time with us. I felt a deep sadness. And then my mother-in-law did the unthinkable - she put her arms around me and hugged me...for a moment, I felt like she understood my situation... but then, I realised that I had forgotten the big 'suitcase' for the kids - "It's not my responsibility!" Mat said, leaving me to take the blame. Lesley (my MIL) is now angry at me and the love has diminished. Next scene; I find myself in a crowded dentist. I have some sort of jabbing denture/retainer in my mouth which keeps coming lose. There is a piece of metal that is moving up and down between my front teeth which is making me feel nauseous - the feeling of metal against tooth enamel. Yuck! I need it fixed but there are too many bodies in this building. It will take forever to be seen. I panic and try to run out of the building, tumbling over legs as I went. I then felt a rush of sick leak into my mouth - I tried to get someone to help me - but nobody wanted to know... I'm running around with sick lining my cheeks... ready to explode at any given moment. Finally, I see Kylie and she leads me outside - she's angry and says "Don't ruin my birthday!" I puked against a wall - big uncomfortable balls of puke, the colour of Weetabix. When I have finished puking, I see a policeman is standing by, watching me and we quickly make a run for it.
