The Struggle To Not Hide

I'm sent to a house full of non humans, a respite from the human world. None of the neighbors surrounding know. The media portrays the non humans all as dangerous. I'm a vampire and I feel alone, even there, childish angst I suppose. They do everything together, the non human group they stick together. I don't like to. Especially in the daylight. They go off on picnics and I don't like to go. They take off swimming across the lake, but I don't like to swim. I consider taking the boat but I'd be the only one so I stay behind. They have a picnic in the church building across the lake. I do end up showing up, maybe it's for a picnic weeks later, but disaster strikes. The man who runs the house, a human who kep us safe betrayed us and sold us out to the authorities and media. They are attacking, we're scared. I convince them not to hide, to stop hiding who they really are. They actually join me but suddenly power is cut, they cut off magic, the whole church explodes or goes dark or something. We scatter. Weeks or even years later we meet up again. There are descendants of the original group, all thinking they are human with the magic cutting off their true selves. We plot to bring it back and right for our equality. 5 or 6 my little pony girls get their magic first. They already know how to use it as they've been doing Cheerleader routines for years together with the same motions. The man who sold us out got his own TV show and now is helping us again. I don't like it, don't trust him, but he is there. People treat him as genuine this time.
