Plastic surgery in school?

Some girl in my English class thinks that getting plastic surgery was okay because it would help you become a better person (in appearance) and everyone, even my friends, agreed with her. Later some guy showed in my school in a doctor's outfit and surgical tools. I was really freaked out because every girl was supposed to go through this thing, but I didn't want to.
