Return to Guam

My friend Gunner and I were on Guam, and were helping Stede Bonnet look for something/someone and we found ourselves on a beach that made a V shape which led to several rock outcrops going into the sea. Next thing I know, I’m waking up on one of the rock outcrops, my body half way in the water as I unconsciously clung to the rock. Getting on top of the rock, I start making my way back to the beach when I notices someone following me. While my first instinct is that its Gunner, I realized I can’t be sure and pick up the pace, sprinting and jumping across three large rocks before landing on the sand. As I turn around to face whoever’s chasing me, preparing to possibly fight them,, a girl my age runs up and grabs my shoulders and starts blurting out strings of sentences at rapid fire pace, saying things like she’s happy to see me again and that she thought I said I’d never return to Guam again. Confused, I let her back me up into the shallows of the water as she still had her hands on my shoulders. She finally stops to ask me if I remember her, and I can only respond with a confused, “Uhh…” But apparently, that was good enough for her, as she thought I said “La-,” which is the beginning of her name, something I unfortunately can not remember. Maybe Lalayla? I know it had three distinct syllable sounds and starts with an L at least. Still completely confused, her family comes out of nowhere and she starts introducing me, and calling me her new boyfriend. I can hardly even retort much less process the situation as she has continued to talk at a rapid fire speed. Around here I woke up just as confused as I was in the dream, as I can’t remember if I actually knew the girl from when I lived in Guam and subconsciously remembered her or just made her up.
