The map is on the metal mug

H- was organizing a group camping excursion; as I was settling into the minivan he passed me a tin camping mug with the map to the grounds imprinted over its exterior surface. I compared various possible routes on Google Maps to determine if the drive would be considerably extended if I added a stop in another city where I had to pick something up, maybe medication? I don’t remember. The destination was eastbound and this third city was slightly south and out of the way. I still have the layout of the terrain in my mind.
