I Thought I Was In Cradle Of Filth

I believe I have been selected to join English metal group Cradle of Filth as a second guitarist. I'm at the other guitarist's flat and I'm very excited as we talk about the band's music. Later, to my bitter disappointment I see that I was merely one of many shortlisted to be considered as a replacement. A screen shows the list of names decreasing until one name remains. I have not been chosen.
