So let me start by saying that in real life, before I fell asleep, I had just had sex with the guy I was spending the night with. In the dream, we were in his bed watching a movie, just as we had been before sex. Then I rolled on top of him and started grinding on him, and I couldn't see his face very well because it was covered with sheets and the room was dark. It wasn't until he got on top of me that I realized he didn't have a head. The only thing looking back at me was a bloody stump of a neck. I couldn't even scream and was paralyzed with fear for a moment before I ran from the room and tried to wake his roommates, but they were nowhere to be found. When I came back to the room, he was just sitting there, still breathing and all, perfectly alive - and I swear if he'd had a face with which to make expressions, he would have been smirking. I wasn't quite sure how exactly but I knew something had possessed him - though he couldn't speak or make eye contact or facial expressions, something about him screamed that an entirely different entity had taken control. Every detail of the dream was so horrifically real - same setting, same events that transpired beforehand, everything was the same as before I'd fallen asleep. And in the dream I'd tried to wake myself several times without success, closing and reopening my eyes to find that, yep, he was still missing his head. I finally did manage to wake up a few hours ago and even now I still have to lean over and check occasionally that his head is still attached to his body.
