School Store

Our school has always had students with severe financial problems, parents and kids in debt, lack of food on the table, and even homelessness, and personally, my mom is in credit card debt that we've been feeling for two years. So, I had a dream that my school had a free store, but it became a mall. We had a clothing section right off of our tech room, and it looked like an upper class place, mannequins and really high quality clothes, it was spacious and had great variety, it was great. I went through the many rooms, looking for band shirts or merch shirts, and I ended up in a far room, looking at gowns. I looked at a moana dress for prom, it was like a cosplay dress. It was one of the few that you did have to pay for (11$) and it was part of a mannequin centerpiece in the pleasant yellow room. A friendly woman sat there talking to me as I put the headdress on in the mirror, and it made me happy, so I put it back on the mannequin and told myself I'd pick out a prom dress later. Then I found myself in the department/drug store section, first I looked at the video games, and the games, in the designated area, that was built with some cool black stairs to get up there, black shelves, and a grey floor. I looked at games for the consoles I have, and I grabbed a fun looking first person shooter, and then picked up two of the same game, where you plant things (the seeds are already in dirt, held together by mesh), and I was excited because they were live, pollinator-friendly plants! The woman working packaged all three up in the same package that looked like a candy, with the plastic wrap twisted on the sides. I asked, and she gave me a big white bag so I could go get soaps and laundry detergent and perfumes, and other nice things. I first picked up a jug of lemon soap, thinking I'd refil the soaps at home when ours ran out. Then I went to body soaps and scented soaps and sniffed a few, and put a small but pretty smelling one and a big citrus-y one in my bag, because I like when my baths and showers smell good. I was already getting very excited about having and using these at home. I picked out a perfume that smelled like cherries and oranges, then I went and grabbed a jug of fabric softener and laundry soap, and started looking at laundry scent beads because, again, I like nice smelling things.
