teeth gone grey?

i had a dream that my teeth literally went grey (in reference to Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 6 "you'll end up with your teeth all grey"). I couldn't scratch it off like regular plaque that's on your teeth. I could only peel the grey off, it would be like plastic cover on a new car radio (that's the best way i could find to describe it). When i'd peel away the grey, there'd just be black liquid covering my teeth. I woke up before i could wash it off, maybe it was some weird whitening method?
