dream hole

When i was a kid i dreamt i was hiking with a group of boys from my school. I really wanted to be friends with them but they refused to acknowledge me in the waking world. In the dream we came out onto a large clearing on top of a giant boulder. The boys egged me on saying i should jump of into the water below. I was scared but at the time i knew i was trying to prove a point so did..but the boys all looked on and then left to do something else. Recently i had that same dream again except when they started egging me on..I left. But then i ran into a series of worse and more difficult situations. I could t help thinking that if i had just jumped off that these things might not have happened. I had shed one difficult situation from my youth only to find even more problems in my adulthood.
