Pregnant with my own clone

I miss my period and feel bloated, like there’s something growing inside me. I think I can’t be pregnant but I go to the doctor anyway. He tells me I’m pregnant. That’s impossible, I say, I’m a virgin. I’ve never even had sex. He gives me an ultrasound, showing me the baby which already looks like it’s in the 3rd trimester. Get this. He says that sometimes, immaculate conception happens—rarely, an egg cell can fertilize another egg cell, producing a baby without sex. I ask if the baby will be genetically identical to me and he says it will... kind of. Because chromosomes get shuffled whenever gametes are produced, the baby is basically the theoretical result of me having sex with my male clone. That’s right, friends: we’re looking at inbreeding to the fucking MAX. So any rare, fucked up recessive conditions I have hidden in my genes, the baby would have a 1/4 chance of getting. I really wanted to terminate the pregnancy but I think it was too late by then.
