Run run run to another universe

I was learning how to travel between parallel dimensions. Well, I mastered that lesson. I spent that time reveling in the fact I could change my living space. I moved to a slightly different dimension inside and the room was different. Sometimes just furniture was moved. Sometimes it was different. Sometimes it was redone to a new apartment entirely. Often I chose something more asutere. And I was afraid I'd get in trouble for stealing someone's stuff so I didn't bring a reality that had a person fully living there. Outside was a beautiful green grassy hillside. The window was so huge showcasing the landscape. I ran around practicing on that hillside. We did this thing where we through our body and our spirit in opposite directions. Tossing body begin us, tossing spirit up and kitty corner or something. And it propelled our bodies forward. It was a cheat to learn to teleport. At first we rode a train to learn how to do it. Then, we did it standing on the ground and miles and miles were eaten up in an instant. It was so cool. I did this before and after the house thing. I stopped in this place for a while and got a job working for this guy I really liked. I felt for him. He needed me. He was helpless and needed help, with doing magic. His whole town was haunted by ghosts. They were their equivalent of magic. In fact I think magic and ghost was the same thing there and might be the same thing everywhere else too, we just don't call it that. Anyway I did some spells for him, taught him some to protect and defend himself and he hired me. I would be his assistant and come live with him. He lived with his family. They heavily objected to an outsider. Didn't trust me. We first came on a party night in this big manse. The house seemed a little crowded but it was beautiful. Old. In the middle of the party, I decided I wasn't going to live there if there would be such pushback with secrets. So I went upstairs. Most of it was blocked off, but they did have a way up. It was even more beautiful upstairs. Big old house, wooden everything, dust and unloved in, no furniture. But gorgeous. And his father was up there, deriding his choices. And their guests. I found the room I wanted. It was perfect. I decided they were going to change if I would stay. This was nonsense. Treating me like this, the prejudice, was nonsense. And the ghosts stuff was nonsense. So I left and went down stairs determined to help fix things. That's why I was here. and I did. I got things better. I think I became a dog to help. I became his dog. Like an actual dog. Maybe I was dead? Then became s living dog? Or maybe they all were dead and I was the living one. And the I died and became a dig. I don't know but I fixed it. And I was so mistreated that by the end of it I left him a note when it was all over and I was sure he was well and I left. I took back up running and teleporting. It was nice to be free again and I forgot about that guy and his awful family. I thought he might come after me a moment but he didn't. He didn't really want me there. Even after all I did for him. I ran. and the travel was different but the same. Now when I ran I ran between parallel universes. Like bumbling through doors every hundred feet ornso and there would be a set of 5 doors or so that opened each to a parallel universe. You passed through all of them and kept running, essentially. Anyway life could be different in a parallel world. I often ended up naked here and there. Like I'd pass through one and suddenly instant nakedness and I'd go back to normal on the path but if there was a mother door after the naked making door...it was awkward. I ran into this woman coming out of a washroom. Had no idea how to explain myself. At the end of the run I came to sit on a wall. It was a stone wall, big round stones making it up? Pretty. Old. and we were a council. We sat on the wall as if it were a court. With arranged seating. It was fancy for all it was in nature and I felt like a gremlin. We sorta blended in with the stone when we reached our seat.
