bummer birthday

I planned my birthday party and I was all excited, but no one wanted to do the stuff I planned. I hung out with Julie beforehand and then she couldn't come to the party. I got to the venue, which was a big house, maybe Autumn and Yale's, and people were playing this ARG. It was a haunted house deal. I don't remember all the rules. It was based on silence, there was a long-running storyline I didn't know about, no one could explain it to me because of the silence, I hated it. It did sound kind of cool in concept, but it just wasn't what I wanted to do on my birthday. There was some meme about long earlobes that everyone laughed at but couldn't explain to me. It was worse than DND. I said something to Stevi about how I was not enjoying myself. She was like "oh no" and called the game off, which I thought was really sweet. But then they took forever to wrap it up and they ended up playing a shorter (but still very long) version of it while I just sat and waited.
