All I care about is the characters

It was a new species thing and I have no idea how to describe them other than alien They had markings all over their body aside from their backs, which were pure white. They had wings connected to their lower arms and spanned across their back. Their teeth were kinda pointy and they were just kinda really pretty all around The guy in the dream was on the young side and always felt like a burden on his mom (she very much subscribed to the tough love approach) and so would often try to do things on his own to make her proud, like dealing with his first molting alone, which is supposed to be hella painful There was some sort of fight and he was sort of involved, though he didnt choose to be and tried to get away. His fam was just glad he hadnt been hurt because someone had pulled a gun at some point and that's no good.
