Scooter Board

I'm using a Scooter Board because I can't walk very well (arthritis), to travel through the shopping plazas in town. Goes fast. Has breaks on the handles. I got the steering down pretty smooth. I can go everywhere except the more rugged terrain, like the dirt hills by the wooden sound barriers separating the plaza parking lots from the highway I meet a pro skater by the dirt hills who mistakes me for a kindred spirit. He insists on pouring water from his jug into my mouth and it spills all over. "Skaters need to stay hydrated!" he claims. The water is warm and not refreshing. Then he says, "Damn! I forgot that water has been in this jug for a year." Yikes! Hope I don't die. I had my own water bottle but can't find it. Can't find my Scooter Board, either. Now he knows I'm not a pro. Pros don't lose their boards. He suggests I look at the dirt hills. I figure it will be gone, but as I get closer I can see other people's humble belongings on the dusty shelves, high up against the sound barrier. And there's my Scooter Board! Good, because I can't walk, although nobody notices as I climb, hands and feet, gripping around the rocks of the dirt hills. Skaters don't steal from skaters!
