Stormy Weather

Started me looking for my airbnb in a neighborhood where it looked like only rich people lived. I enter into this building that looked like a regular house but the inside looked a hotel. It had a reception desk and it was very bright inside. I asked if they knew where this door number was. They did and directed me to a entry way on the left side of the entrance hallway. I had to walk through a steel tough door and walk up a flight of stairs. I found my room, yet there wasn't anything weird about that room to signify that a steel door is needed. But I didn't minded it, at least it made be feel safe when it time to sleep. The next day arrives, I get up and gather my things before I start my day with an early exploration of this location I'm visiting (in which I have no idea where I am in the dream). I start heading down the street just roaming and looking around, I come across this mall center. I walk in and see there's plenty of stores to enjoy some windows shopping. As I was pass a few stores I notice there was a sort of lounge area. A weird style of seats, groups seats and single seating arrangements were scattered in the lounge. As well a giant screen in front of everything. Just like the screen from the nintendo store but bigger and longer. No sense of direction in how they wanted the lounge to look like when it was all finished. As I approach closer to a seat to friends from behind me grabbed me and insisted us to go sit in a group seat so we can hang out and catch up on what's been going on with our lives. As we sit and talk about of funny and embarrassing moments the screen turns on, a series of panels with tasks starts shuffling like a roulette. I of course have no idea was going on but as I turn back around to my friends and the crowd they were all focus on the screen. As the roulette kept going all the seats began to light up and each seat had a different color. I don't think the color meant anything, the light just meant that your seat was chosen. And of course our seat was chosen to do whatever task the screen said. My friends convinced me to complete the task since it was my first time trying something like this. So I continue looking at the screen hoping the task it stops at won't be a difficult one. It starting to show signs of slowing. It's stops. TASK: BUY A PAIR OF JORDAN SNEAKERS AT FOOTLOCKER. That's it. Nothing else. White background and bold black text. I looked at my friends as they tell me the nearest foot locker was 3 floors up. A countdown started on the screen as I began to prepare myself. 3...2...1...Start! I sprinted to the closes stairs because theres no way in hell the elevator would show up on time and/or be empty. So I get to the stairs and just ran up. Two steps at a time. No breaks. I arrive on the 4th floor and start looking around. "where the hell is a footlocker". I found one, went in, spotted a Jordan style shoe, bought and ran out with out thinking about the price or the size. I ran back down the same steps I climbed from. Jumping down each stair section. I wanted to win but I didn't know what I would win but I just wanted too win. I arrive back to the 1st floor where the lounge was located. I sprint back to my seat location as my friend cheered me on. I got to my seating spot and raised the shoes I just bought for no reason. I placed the box on the table as I sit and slouch gasping for air. I pass out. I wake up in the middle of a road, standing, looking at the horizon. Clouds flying across the sky faster than normal. Looked like waves crashing in the sky completely covering everything. No rain. No wind. Just lighting with no sound. Multiple lighting strikes hit the ground, but the lighting bolt didn't go away. It wasn't a "flash" of light. It was a literal rod of lightning that just stayed there once it hit the ground. I couldn't move. Couldn't run from the possible danger. Had to watch what a doomsday would look like. A rod of lighting struck literally down the road from where I was standing and the bright light that came with it blinded me. I wake up back at the mall lounge. I was still sitting on the seat gasping for air. As my group of friends continue to congratulate me I excuse myself from my seat and try to find the closest window. The only window was down a hallway towards the back of the building where they place all the garbage for garbage day. The clouds was starting to cross the sky like a big tidal wave. I ran back to my friends and told them to get up, we need to get of out here like now. "what? Why? What's going on?" They all continued to ask as we kept running to the exit. One exclaimed "we have our car park in the parking lot, we all quickly changed coursed of action and headed to the parking lot. We all get in the car and started to drive. We didn't know where but we just drove. After a few moments I remembered that the airbnb I was stay at had a steel door. So if this waves of clouds mean anything doomsday related I thought maybe a place with a steel door would suffice. I told everyone let's go to my airbnb. They all had a confused expression but didn't continue asking questions and agreed. As I continued directing them where to go I kept looking up in the sky, seeing how quickly the clouds covered the sky. IT'S HERE! Just leave the car in the street and get inside quickly. The car was lefted in the middle of the street and everyone else started to run towards the building. I stood back to make sure everyone got out of the car. I ran behind the last person, I entered the building and showed them the steel door we had to enter. Everyone ran in without question almost stomping over each other I get in and pulled the door as hard as I can and locked it shut. I wake up.
